Emergency Procedures for Riders

EMERGENCY PROCEDURES FOR RIDERS PARTICIPATING IN THE CRUDWELL ‘LE MANS’ 24 HOUR BIKE RIDE

In the event of an accident or emergency:

  • if you have a phone, call 07979 860294 (Bike Ride Control HQ) with the rider number and location of the incident
  • if someone is injured, ensure that somebody remains with the injured person
  • ask the next cyclist you see to relay to the next marshal point the details and location of the incident including the rider number
  • contact the Paramedics who will be situated on site.

In any event:

  • Ring the Bike Ride Control HQ on 07979 860294
  • Contact your nearest Marshall who will call Bike Ride HQ
  • Tell the security car driver who will contact Bike Ride HQ
  • Speak to a Bike Ride organiser – who will be wearing a special T– shirt marked ‘Event Team ‘
  • Ask another rider to do one of the above
