The 2017 bike ride takes place in Crudwell over the weekend of 24th/25th June.
Getting to the Bike Ride
Crudwell is in North Wiltshire on the A429, between Malmesbury and Cirencester.
Bike Ride Headquarters is at Crudwell Village Hall, on Tetbury Lane. There is a road signposted in the centre of the village to Long Newnton, Tetbury, Ashley and Chedglow. This will take you to the Bike Ride location.

Please be patient and take care when entering or leaving the site as the rider changeover area shares the entrance to the whole site. Always follow the Event Team instructions.

These are cleaned from time to time throughout the event, but your cooperation is requested to keep the toilets in a reasonable state.
This new facility has been completed since last year’s event and consists of a shower area complete with self contained shower, sink, toilet and changing area.
Pitches are allocated to each team on the request of the team captain who is responsible for everyone who uses it.
Each pitch will be allocated an identification number, which is shown on the map at the field entrance.
Under 18s staying overnight MUST be supervised by a responsible adult.
Food and Refreshments
There will be hot refreshments, a Saturday evening barbecue and Sunday morning breakfast available. There is also an overnight service of hot drinks. Full details are to be confirmed.
Entertainment for Saturday evening
While the barbecue is underway, there will be live music from
- 16:30 to 17:00 Sam Salter – singer and yellowy-orange guitarist
- 17:00 to 19:00 Steve Degutis – singer and blues guitarist
- 19:15 to 20:15 Limestone Kiwis – young up and coming local band
Overnight Check in
There is no provision to accept overnight registration unless payment is made by cash. Riders who have registered previously can check in and collect their wristband from the caravan in the Car Park.
Dogs are NOT permitted anywhere on the playing field with the exception of ADUK Accredited Assistance Dogs.
Car Park Area
Please be aware that this facility is provided to us through the kind generosity of the landowner. Please respect this and keep noise to a minimum.
EXTREME CARE MUST BE TAKEN WHEN ENTERING AND LEAVING THIS SITE AS IT LEADS ON TO A PUBLIC ROAD AND IS DIRECTLY NEXT TO THE START/AREA.

After the event
Other than celebrating your achievement, it’s now simply about collecting your sponsorship money pledged on your paper sponsorship forms and getting it to your Team Captain as soon as possible. You can still ask for sponsorship through Virgin Giving as well.
It’s your Team Captain’s responsibility to coordinate the return of all the team’s sponsorship forms and the money. They’ve been asked to do this by 31st July 2017.
